Can Digestive System Enzymes Relieve Pain?

What Causes Pain?

Pain is your body’s way of telling you something is wrong.  It’s usually the result of an injury and is usually accompanied by inflammation.  Inflammation is produced by your body to attempt to limit motion in some way so as not to worsen the injury. It also serves to speed blood and vital nutrients to the site to begin the healing process.  This is a good thing.  The problems begin when the inflammation doesn’t stop when the healing has begun.

What Goes Wrong?

Proteolytic enzymes, also known as digestive system enzymes, which are supposed to reduce the inflammation fall off in our systems after about age 25.  Without a significant amount of these enzymes, the inflammation doesn’t get the signal to reduce following an injury and just keeps the area inflamed.  Besides these enzymes, other factors can contribute to inflammation in our bodies.  The short list is:

Unaddressed pain and injuries

Toxins and chemicals in our air, water and food

Poor nutritional habits

Bacterial or viral infections

Allergies

Prescription medications

Auto-immune diseases

Negative mental and emotional stress

In addition, inflammation is responsible for a whole host of chronic conditions and diseases.  Not the least of which are arthritis, colitis, chronic fatigue, sinusitis, cataracts, chronic pain, hair loss, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and dozens of other ailments and conditions.

How Do We Reduce Inflammation Safely?

NSAIDs(Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Celebrex, Vioxx)are not good because they prevent the production of Circulating Immune Complex and many CICs are vital to healthy life.  This doesn’t even address the side-effects all of these medications can have which range from headaches to heart attacks to death!  That’s right, death!

Systemic Enzyme Therapy on the other hand, are not anti-inflammatory drugs but rather reduce inflammation by neutralizing the bio-chemicals of inflammation to levels where the creation, repair and regeneration of injured tissues can take place.

Besides reducing inflammation, these enzymes also:

Break Down Scar Tissue

Cleanse the blood

Maintain a healthy immune system

Fight and kill viruses

Systemic enzymes truly are one of nature’s most powerful natural remedies.

    What do you think?
2 weeks ago I had a spinal decompression operation, very successful except the pain which seems to be related to eating, especially in the morning is untouched. Would appreciate your comments.
